How to Find Your Right Makeup
There are at least 3 crucial factors we must consider to choose the correct makeup. Ignoring any one of these factors, we can end up looking like a fool.
1. What looks good with your complexion
It might seem like a simple concept. But we see it ignored time and time again. Women wear eyeshadow, blush, etc. based on what their favorite color is, what the latest trend is, what's on sale, what somebody gave them because they didn't use it. None of these things are bad ideas in themselves. But if we take one of these and run with them, it just won't work out if the colors are not compatible with our complexion.
2. Price
When someone first told me to consider that as a factor, I thought it was because she wanted to sell me makeup. But soon, I realized her point. I'm not saying go out and buy the most expensive makeup out there. But if I can buy blush for the same price as a cup of coffee, I shouldn't be surprised if it hardens or cakes up within a week. Not to mention, what kind of low-grade materials must be thrown together for the finished product to be so cheap? Bottom line: you get what you pay for.
3. Your wardrobe
There are some women that have all the colors of the spectrum in their closet. But most of us gravitate towards a certain color scheme when we shop for clothes. We should keep this in mind when shopping for makeup. After all, makeup and clothes must be coordinated.
